AN ORDINANCE
To Be Entitled:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT MYERS,
FLORIDA, PROVIDING FOR FUTURE LAND USE MAP AMENDMENT
CPA25-0014 FOR 13380, 13391, 13401, 13411, & 13421 CHANA CT.,
13380 INTREPID LN., 10290 VISION LN., AND FOLIO NOS 10259590 &
10458794, CHANGING 21 ACRES, MORE OR LESS, FROM INDUSTRIAL
(IND) TO CORRIDOR COMMERICAL (C/C), PROVIDING FOR LEGAL
STATUS, PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS: The City of Fort Myers Comprehensive Plan, as amended, has been
prepared in compliance with Chapter 163, Florida Statutes, and properly submitted for
review by the appropriate agencies; and
WHEREAS: The City of Fort Myers has solicited public comment in accordance
with its duly adopted public participation procedures; and
WHEREAS: Pursuant to Florida Statute 163.3184(11) public hearings, with due
public notice, have been held on the small-scale Future Land Use Map (FLUMA)
amendment CPA25-0014, 13411 Chana Court FLUMA; before the Mayor and City
Council to inform the public; and
WHEREAS: The comments and objections received from all persons, agencies,
or governments to date have been duly considered.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF FORT MYERS, FLORIDA, that:
SECTION 1. The Future Land Use Map of the City of Fort Myers
Comprehensive Plan is hereby amended and adopted as set forth in Exhibit A and dated
July 22, 2025.
SECTION 2. The effective date of this small-scale amendment to the
Future Land Use Map of the City of Fort Myers Comprehensiye Plan Amendment CPA25-
ORDINANCE NO. 4072
0014, 13411 Chana Court FLUMA, changing 21 acres, more or less, from Industrial
(IND) to Corridor Commercial (C/C) shall become effective 31 days after adoption per
Section 163.3187, Florida Statutes. No development orders, development permits, or
land uses dependent on this amendment may be issued or commence before it has
become effective.
SECTION 3. Severability. Should any provision or section of this
ordinance be held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or invalid,
such decision shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole, or any part
thereof, other than the part so declared to be unconstitutional or invalid.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall become effective 31 days after
adoption.
